Overview

It has been a challenging time for all charities throughout the COVID 19 pandemic.

During this period we have continued to donate and support many different causes including My Sister’s Place, Red Sky Foundation, Suubi African Charity Ball, the Great North Air Ambulance and this past Winter we will be supporting and attending Daisy Chain’s Winterland Ball.

During this period we have also helped Mike Hind, a local fitness instructor by donating PPE during the lockdowns. This was then distributed to front line workers. And as part of his Christmas appeal, we made a donation towards working to ensure that no child should go hungry.

The Red Sky Foundation

Our Directors and Clients supported The Red Sky Foundation at the Foundations Golf Classic at Ramside Hall.

The Red Sky Foundation raises vital funds to buy life savings machinery and equipment for babies and children with heart problems at the Children’s heart unit at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle.

And continue to support them in their endeavours to deliver a defibrillator project and CPR training in deprived areas and provide local schools and communities with life-saving units to make the North East a safer place to live, learn, work and play.

We also continue to donate sale proceeds from our telehandler piece of plant, which was bought for charity.

Any sales generated from hiring the telehandler are split between three charities, Cancer Research, British Heart Foundation and a charity of the Hirer’s choice.

We have continued to support My Sister’s Place, Middlesbrough this past year with a £2500 donation for all the amazing work they do in the local community.

HMH will continue to support local causes and charities in the coming year and beyond.

Daisy Chain - Winterland Ball

HMH Civils has once again sponsored Daisy Chain at their annual Winterland Ball at Hardwick Hall.

Daisy Chain provides a range of support services to children and adults affected by autism.

Suubi Africa UK- Charity Ball

HMH are very proud to support a small but passionate charity working to change the lives of vulnerable children in Uganda and their community.

Suubi Africa village has a primary school, medical centre and a home for abandoned children, together with a Saturday club that feeds up to 200 every week.

We attended the African Ball this Autumn and supported and help them raise much-needed funds.
